Translate passive sentences
Group 1: sentences without “by” Option 1: spell the copula (was, were, is, are, be) Option 2: turn from passive into active with “someone/ something” This is for person/animal-based. If it is thing-based, there's no need to include a copula or translate with “someone/something”.
