In the living room of a big, rich house: Handy person: Bye Resident: Thank you for hanging the picture up. Bye. (Checks his phone) On the phone “Off-the-Grid Missions,” its sign, and the “donate” button appear. Resident: This is Off-the-Grid Missions. It’s amazing how they help various deaf people all over the world who have gone through natural disasters. Do you think I would donate to them? Haha. You know me. I am stingy with my money because I like to spend it on my big, beautiful house. (Laughs) An earthquake hits and shakes the house which causes the framed picture to fall down. Resident: Oh, everything will be alright. I have a slew of insurance policies. (Walks out of the room) In front of the house: The resident acts surprised. People are running on the street in front of the big houses and a helicopter comes. The helicopter driver uses a bull horn to make some announcements. Resident: Why are they running? The people and the helicopter exit and leave the street empty. Resident: Oh, everything will go back to normal. (Turns back to the house) In the bedroom: Resident: Oh shoot! The power is out. How can I charge my phone? It will be dark soon. Oh. (Poses a smile) The next day the resident wakes up with messy hair. Resident: Finally, it is light outside but the power is still out. In front of the house, the resident turns to check on what’s happening outside and looks stunned. The street is still empty with a plastic bag floating by. Resident: Oh, soon it will return to normal. Very soon. (Poses a smile and turns back to the house) In the kitchen: Resident: Oh shoot! The running water is turning brown and dirty. How can I drink this? Ugh! Oh, everything will be alright. Since I am deaf and all alone, how can I contact Off-the-Grid Missions? Oh! I have a solar device. It will absorb the solar power to charge my phone. It is somewhere over there. In front of the house, the resident holds the phone. Resident: Finally! Hey, Off-the-Grid Missions. I am stuck here! A moment later, the resident turns his head and opens his mouth. A huge truck comes in with the logo of Off-the-Grid Missions. Truck Driver: Come in! On a stage, the resident applauses. Resident: Since I was rescued by Off-the-Grid Missions, as a citizen of this town, to you, the team of the Off-the-Grid Missions, we would like to say thank you! The moment freezes. Garrett Bose comes in. Garrett: This story could have happened but moving that aside. Now, this is really me. I have seen what Off-the-Grid Missions has done. How remarkable! I would like to thank and recognize you, the team of Off-the-Grid Missions, for all of your hard work. I truly honor you. Now, everyone can check Off-the-Grid Missions’ website to support and donate to their cause. If not for donations, how would resources be provided? Support, thank, and send them your love! Inside of a vehicle: Resident: Hey! I just got a text from my friend who is deaf. Can you rescue them? Driver: Sure! Whether or not it is off the grid, we will still go! (Places the hand on the steering wheel) Let’s go! Text “Off-the-Grid Missions” with its logo appear and the sign for it appears after.
